Abstract: The creation of safe working environment and the overall environmental footprint of 3D printing process is the relevant issue for the industry and other fields of human activity. The urgency of the research is due to the need to explore the working environment in operation of 3D printers for fused deposition modelling technology (FDM) as one of the most wide-spread.
