Abstract:	Anew species of the genus Chelotia, C. pervicina sp. nov., from Middle Eocene deposits of the southern outskirts of the town of Krivoi Rog (Ukraine) is described. This species is compared with the most similar species C. concava (Deshayes) based on studying Chelotia specimens from the collection of the National Museum of Natural History (Paris, France).
