Abstract: The paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of cross-platform and native mobile application development. The conditions are highlighted in which native and cross-platform development reveal their advantages. These conditions include the project size, work comfort, popularity, relevance. It was concluded that a beginner developer should start learning from native development, and then try cross-platform.
