Abstract: Experimental investigations of the process of acid extraction of pectin-containing raw materials (beet pulp) with the use of a new model of a mixing element compared to a conventional lattice mixer are highlighted. The experimental setup and method of processing the results of the study of the process of extraction of pectin substances from pectin-containing raw materials (beet pulp) with the use of a new combined mixing element. According to the results of the research it was established the feasibility of applying a new method of intensification.
