dc.description.abstractThe monograph considers the issue of increasing the energy efficiency of ore mining processes in mines through the introduction of distributed power generation systems. The pumped-storage potential of underground water drainage is used as a source for generating power. A comparative analysis of various configurations of power systems for mine consumers, including “peak” pumped-storage hydroelectric power plants, with a scheme in which power is supplied only from an external power grid, has been carried out.
